Screech-Ins

The Jighouse, nestled downstairs in the New Gower Street Liquor Store, offers a wide range of products produced in Newfoundland and Labrador, including spirits, beer, wine and other products.

Visitors to The Jighouse can participate in the authentic Screech-In ceremonies, hosted by Spirit of Newfoundland performers, which take place 1:30pm and 3:30pm daily for the entire summer. Screech is the leading dark rum in Newfoundland and is sold across Canada and into the United States. Screech-Ins at the Jighouse celebrate the history and tradition of Screech in an entertaining environment.

There are lots of products that Screech-lovers can find at The Jighouse including a Screech-In kit (includes materials for you to perform your own Screech-Ins at home), a personalized labeling service for the Screech 750ml bottle, Screech T-shirts, Screech flavoured jam, coffee, and more!
