As a member of the Marketing & Communications department, this position is responsible for the following:

  • Develops and optimizes communications for all relevant e-channels, including social media, e-mail, intranet, web site, mobile and e-commerce.
  • Provides guidance and support for content development, and design updates for NLC web sites (retail promotions, special event information/ticket sales, product reviews, media releases, corporate policies and procedures);
  • Grows NLC’s online presence and brand recognition by finding new and exciting ways to drive online traffic;
  • Leverages new and existing digital opportunities in order to engage and educate consumers while driving sales in a socially responsible manner;
  • Develops digital marketing performance measurements and delivers post-campaign analytics to help internal teams and suppliers understand program effectiveness
  • Contributes key insights into the development of NLC’s omni-channel strategy
  • Manages and coordinates day-to-day interactions with the general public, customers, media, corporate employees, and store management and staff on social media sites;
  • Ensures NLC’s online voice is consistent and representative of the Corporation’s mission and values.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • University degree with a concentration in marketing/communications, social media management/graphic design or reasonable equivalent education;
  • 5 years experience working as an online community manager or digital content leader;
  • A creative marketing mindset with exceptional communications skills;
  • Experience with content management platforms, email service providers, social media dashboards and relevant analytic tools;
  • Computer Skills:
    • MS Office (Office; Word; EXCEL; Power Point)
    • Graphic design software (Adobe Suite, EPS, etc.)
    • Social media operational skill set (Facebook, twitter, instagram, Google business, LinkedIn, YouTube)
    • Online content development expertise with HTML and CSS proficiencies

Salary: CG 37: $62,556.00 – $69,868.50 per annum
