As a member of the Information Technology team, this position is accountable for the following:
  •   Develop application system specifications according to application design principles, methods, and defined business requirements;
  •   Meet with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements in relation to new and existing systems and projects
  •   Analyze system specifications for three (3) tier web-based application development
  •   Program, document, test and debug HTML and ASP.NET pages, running under Internet Information Server (IIS) on a Windows 2012 Server
  •   Program, document, test and debug all system components, including: input/output sources, data structures and files, sub-systems and modules, online and production monitoring procedures, interfaces of manual to automated operations within subsystems to external systems and between new and existing systems
  •   Program, document, test and debug ASP.NET VB.NET, ADO.NET with an SQL back-end
  •   Resolve operational, connectivity or performance problems
  •   Adhere to change management processes, including conducting technical impact assessments of requested changes
  •   Construct webpages, including layout, text, adding video, image and graphics, command buttons and interactive widgets / modules
  •   Optimize website for mobile platforms and responsive content/language display
  •   Document business processes for new and existing systems
  •   Assist with the development of system and user acceptance test plans
  •   Prepare work estimates, plans, and schedules for front end design work, options development, and handover to production
  •   Provide end to end support for production environments including after hours on-call rotation duties

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
  •   Minimum two (2) to three (3) years specialized post-secondary diploma in computer studies or Information Technology
  •   Minimum four (4) years of experience in business analysis that involves creating business and project documents such as business requirements documents, business cases, design documentation and diagrams. The experience should also include performing gap analyses, gathering business user requirements, performing business process modeling and leading workshops or meetings
  •   Working knowledge with Web Content Management Systems (CMS), such as Sitecore or other enterprise solutions
  •   Experience utilizing .Net Web Applications, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  •   Experience with Responsive Web Design
  •   Solid understanding of the relationship between content, visual design, user interface, and user experience
  •   Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript is required. Knowledge of Bootstrap/UI Kit, jquery
  •   Experience with web based eCommerce platform such as Shopify would be considered an asset
  •   Experience with Enterprise Content Management systems such as Laserfiche solutions would be considered an asset
  •   Experience and knowledge of business solutions, software and applications such as POS, CRM, Inventory Management, Merchandising, Financial, Payroll, Regulatory
  •   Able to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality results on time
  •   Advanced analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities
  •   Strong interpersonal, communication, customer service and consulting skills
  •   Ability to work independently and be a flexible, self-motivated team player

Salary: CG 39: $67,002.00 - $74,977.50 annually
